Hello Dear Friends and Story tellers!

Pour que notre histoire fonctionne bien, merci de lire ou relire les règles AVANT de poster ... ATTENTION ! Depuis peu, vous pouvez gagner des points!

Voici votre nouvel exercice de LIBERTE ! Exercice de rédaction collective qui demande de la flexibilité, de l'astuce et de la maîtrise de la langue pour pouvoir créer une même histoire, TOUS ENSEMBLE !
Vous devez suivre la première idée, mais avez toujours la possibilité de la faire dévier, si vous le voulez, par une intervention de votre part:

- Intervention en 20 mots maximum, (suivie de sa traduction).(acceptée, elle rapporte 1 point à son auteur !)
- deux participations consécutives sont INTERDITES
- Le nombre total de propositions est libre, TOUT LE MONDE PEUT PARTICIPER 2 fois, sans aucune obligation ...
- MAIS pour accéder à la troisième participation, vous devez avoir commencé l'exercice 115 du Forum, (même modestement !) et mettre ce travail «In progress.
- Vous ne pourrez poster au-delà de 4 propositions qu’une fois l’exercice 115 déclaré «Ready for correction», pas plus de cinq jours plus tard.
- POUR GAGNER 2 POINTS par phrase, vous devez enchaîner une phrase commencée en vous adaptant.
- Puis, c’est quand… et comme vous voulez ! (A condition de toujours continuer à la DERNIERE PARTICIPATION et pas plus haut ...) en faisant un copier-coller de l'ensemble.

Dans ce "travail-jeu", je vous offre la liberté d'expression (presque) absolue à l'intérieur des règles. A vous de jouer !!! Faites preuve d'originalité, de fantaisie, dans le respect des règles et de la grammaire. ENJOY!

Nombre d'étoiles ? De à Tout dépend de vous! Soyez inventifs !

Votre participation doit à chaque fois être suivie du nombre de mots, de la traduction, et de votre nombre d'interventions. (Le tout en vert pour être repéré facilement). Vous devez TOUS, toujours essayer de corriger (en bleu) la phrase de vos prédécesseurs.(à la fin Lucile ou moi arbitrons… !) Got it ? (Je corrige tous les jours ou tous les deux jours, selon le nombre de participations et les fautes éventuelles). Les tirets de début de phrase sont pour moi ! Ils indiquent que la phrase est "validée". Je peux éventuellement mettre un message en mp pour demander une correction si la faute me fait trop souffrir!

Notre histoire a eu un peu de mal à démarrer ... Problème de conjoncture et de nouveaux emplois du temps, je suppose ... J'espère que vous êtes maintenant bien installés dans votre "rentrée"...
Après ces premières difficultés, tout a bien été ... Beaucoup d'excellents enchaînements, fort à propos, ont été employés montrant que vous possédez maintenant bien la technique ... à vous tous, et à toi, Choco !

Our Story 15:
Brenda, seventy, has enlisted in birds' saving, working as a volonteer at a four-hour drive away from her home.
One bright morning, at dawn, she was starting her rickety jeep for her long-distance and time-consuming journey when pouring rain drowned her way. Her old car was taking on water. Later than expected, she arrived soaked. (+2)
All day long, the rain pelted down and flooded the district. She was stranded, couldn't go home. Her cats were used to running in gardens and found themselves locked in the house and going round in circles when...(+2) a neighbour hearing the cats miaowing decided to open the door; the cats rushed between his legs and (+2) rubbed up against his trouser-legs, gave him an enthusiastic welcome, showing their empty dishes. Purring, they ate and drank. (+2) Brenda wasn’t worried about her cats, she was sure her neighbour and friends would see to them. But she realised that she was in an unusual predicament that she couldn't solve alone. She seized her phone but unfortunately no network... Decidedly, she was out of luck! What a catastrophic day, and the rain that (+2) had seemed not to weaken, suddenly ceased to give way to a nice sunny spell. "How are the birds ?" (+2)
Brenda wanted to watch a group of birds: she walked onto the muddy path but tripped and collapsed.
All her clothes were soiled with mud. The birds stopped singing, seeming to look at her pityingly. One of the birds addressed the others, landing on his branch: "We must help her, I would like your suggestions."
Brenda was lying on the ground, she could not stand up; a bird came to land on her hand and began to whistle (+2) the popular song: "I Do It for You". It cheered Brenda up so much that she managed to stand up. (+2) That was when a bird pulled on her sleeve forcing her to look at something really extraordinary: two superb birds of paradise were dancing together. Brenda had never seen such beautiful birds so closely in her whole life!(+2)
She went to a shelter for swifts. There were 258 swifts, hard to be fed with crickets and hive worms. However, swifts also eat flies, one hundred a day and mealworms; this kind of worms can easily be bought at..."
"No, mealworms are not really adapted to feed swifts, just use them when there's nothing else to be given: "when you give mealworms to birds, anytime, they become ill; internal injuries make the birds unable to fly! We can see a lot of pigeons, ducks or swans, whose feathers are so damaged they absolutely can't fly... It takes time to damage birds but they lose their power to fly, and exhausted, they die.
Every two hours, these swifts were held in a terry towel, to be fed with tweezers, without damaging their feathers.
Swifts don't open their beaks easily, throw out their dose of food. Be patient...! Brenda wanted to feed birds of prey, taken care of for their broken wings. They were flying in a huge aviary, Brenda fed them, raising her arm. Amazing ! THE END!

Brenda, soixante-dix ans, s'engage dans le bénévolat pour sauver des oiseaux, à quatre heures de route de chez elle. Un beau matin, à l'aube, elle démarrait sa vieille jeep branlante pour effectuer son voyage long et lointain lorsqu’une pluie diluvienne s'abattit sur son chemin. Sa vieille voiture prenait l'eau. Plus tard que prévu, elle arriva complètement trempée.
Toute la journée, le déluge s'abattit et inonda la région. Elle était bloquée, sans pouvoir rentrer chez elle. Ses chats étaient habitués à courir dans les jardins mais se trouvèrent enfermés dans la maison à "tourner en rond" quand un voisin , entendant leurs miaulements, se décida à ouvrir la porte, les chats lui passèrent entre les jambes et se caressèrent à son pantalon, lui firent la fête et lui montrèrent leur gamelle vide. En ronronnant, ils mangèrent et burent.
Brenda n’était pas inquiète pour ses chats, elle savait que son voisin et ses amis s’en occuperaient. Mais elle se rendit compte qu'elle se trouvait dans une situation inhabituelle délicate et ne pouvait s'en sortir seule. Elle saisit son téléphone, malheureusement aucun réseau ... Décidément, ce n'était pas de chance ! Quelle journée catastrophique ! Et la pluie qui avait semblé ne pas faiblir, cessa pour laisser place enfin à une belle éclaircie. "Comment vont les oiseaux ?"
Brenda voulut observer un groupe d'oiseaux : elle s'avança dans le chemin boueux, mais fit un faux-pas et trébucha.
Tous ses vêtements furent couverts de boue. Les oiseaux s'arrêtèrent de chanter, semblant la regarder avec pitié.
Un des oiseaux s'adressa aux autres posés sur sa branche : « Nous devons l'aider, j'aimerais vos suggestions."
Brenda était allongée sur le sol, elle ne pouvait pas se lever ; un oiseau vint se poser sur sa main et se mit à siffler la chanson populaire : "I Do It for You". Cela remonta tellement le moral de Brenda qu'elle réussit à se lever.
C’est alors qu’un oiseau tira sur sa manche la forçant à regarder quelque chose d’extraordinaire : c’était deux superbes oiseaux du paradis, dansant ensemble. Brenda n'avait jamais vu d'aussi beaux oiseaux d'aussi près de toute sa vie ! Elle se dirigea vers le refuge des martinets. Il y avait 258 martinets difficiles à nourrir avec des criquets et des vers de ruche. Cependant, les Martinets mangent aussi des mouches, cent par jour et des vers de farine ; on peut facilement acheter cette sorte de vers chez… »
« Non, les vers de farine ne sont pas vraiment adaptés pour les martinets, juste les utiliser quand il n'y a rien d'autre à leur donner ! Quand tu donnes des vers de farine aux oiseaux, tout le temps, ils deviennent malades : des lésions internes entraînent leur inaptitude au vol !
Nous voyons des pigeons, des canards, ou des cygnes dont les plumes sont tellement endommagées qu'ils ne peuvent absolument plus voler ...
Cela prend du temps pour endommager des oiseaux ; mais ils perdent leur pouvoir de voler, et épuisés, ils meurent.
Toutes les deux heures, ces martinets étaient maintenus dans une serviette afin d'être nourris à l'aide d'une pince à épiler, sans salir leurs plumes.
Les martinets n'ouvrent pas facilement le bec et rejettent parfois leur dose de nourriture. Sois patiente !... Brenda voulu nourrir les rapaces opérés pour réparer une aile fracturée. Ils s’ébattaient dans une volière immense et se posaient sur le bras de Brenda pour être nourris. Extraordinaire ! THE END !
