Everything was TAKING A PROMISING TURN! As you know, 'music soothes the soul', and the children were behaving
enthusiastically. Suddenly, Noah BECAME GLOOMY: «But we need money for that». «Rather than money, what you need is
to be more imaginative. You ask everyone to participate and do with the means at hand. Everybody will have a blast!
One morning, a mother came, saying she could lend a hand, for her son HAD BEEN ON CLOUD NINE since he had started
preparing this musical project. The kid had obviously found A MEANING IN LIFE, and the grateful mother intended to
make her contribution. Everyone did their bit, and everything WENT FAR BEYOND their EXPECTATIONS, when a kid felt
fell down from the platform, which made the manager say that the project was too dangerous. Everyone was feeling
DOWN IN THE DUMPS. After that incident, Noah came back to the regular schedule, and he convinced himself that he
would HAVE NO FUTURE. Abby insisted: 'Shake it up! HELP YOURSELF, AND HEAVEN WILL HELP YOU!' Call the parents and
explain how the project is secured, moreover the child was not injured, tatami mats had been installed. HOPE RETURNED.
The rehearsals continued, but hope vanished again when the manager said that, if Noah wanted to continue his "experiments",
he'd better find another job! Hearing this, many parents threatened to withdraw their children, IN THE HOPE THAT the
manager would eventually change his mind. As if by some miracle, it worked! At long last, could Noah BELIEVE IN HIS LUCKY
STAR? But Noah LOST HOPE once again when people from the NSPCC* told him that he needed a special permit to make children
work, but since it was just an unpaid hobby, everything worked out. The show was a success. In the end, one of the parents
enthusiastically told him 'THE FORCE IS WITH YOU', which reminded him of another well-known saying from an old movie 'WHAT'S
IMPORTANT IS NEVER TO DESPAIR', which, once more, proved true!

Ce n'était pas la première fois que Noah postulait à un emploi, mais cette fois il était tout particulièrement plein d'espoir...
Comme on dit : à toute chose malheur est bon, après plusieurs échecs il était maintenant bien entrainé et sûr de lui. Il
avait placé tous ses espoirs dans cette formation d'animateur de centre de vacances. Il avait été contacté en vue d'un
entretien. Il pensait que c'était dans le sac, car la description de poste semblait avoir été rédigée exprès pour lui ! Mais
lorsqu'il arriva, ses espoirs partirent en fumée car il n'y avait pas moins de vingt postulants... Noah s'accrocha à l'espoir
qu'il serait le meilleur d'entre eux. Il avait toutes les cartes en mains. Il y avait un message de sa petite amie Abby sur
son téléphone : " On croise les doigts ! Tu es le meilleur " Il craignait d'avoir le trac, il ne voulait pas décevoir Abby,
donc Noah resta positif. Observant attentivement ses concurrents, il se persuada aisément qu'il avait de meilleures chances
que la plupart d'entre eux, ce qui lui remonta grandement le moral. Comme sa grand-mère disait "Quand on veut, on peut ! "
Donc, lorsqu'il s'assit devant l'interviewer, Noah était optimiste ; cependant son coeur battait la chamade ! Il espéra que
son interlocuteur ne s'en apercevrait pas. La première question que lui posa la femme sembla étrange à Noah : " Comment
feriez-vous pour tirer quelqu'un du désespoir ? " Je l'encouragerais en lui disant : voyez le bon côté des choses, le monde
vous appartient... Et je lui apprendrais la chanson : " Aucune montagne assez haute..." Vous voulez que je la chante ?
‘Non, merci ! Pensez-vous que cela suffise pour donner à cette personne des raisons de garder espoir ?’ "Je pense vraiment
que c'est la première étape ! Chanter des chansons gaies apporte au chanteur une lueur d'espoir ! C'est une thérapie ! "
Je suis tout à fait d'accord. Mais quelle serait votre deuxième étape si la personne n'a pas repris espoir... ? Noah réfléchit
profondément... "Eh bien, je proposerais une courte méditation sur ce sujet : " Attends-toi à l'inattendu ", car cet état d’esprit
aide à tenir bon. " " Excellent. Nous sommes dans l'espoir que la personne choisie puisse commencer le plus tôt possible... Noah
se leva d'un bond : " Tout de suite ! Il faut juste que je nourrisse mes chats avant ! Espérons que les autres candidats n'auront
pas ma disponibilité." " Oh! Ne vous emballez pas, ce n'est pas encore fait... Nous ne voulons pas que vous ayez de faux espoirs,
jeune homme, et je vous recommande d'attendre tranquillement… Votre parcours et votre personnalité m'intéressent, cependant je
veux étudier toutes les candidatures." " Je vous remercie, je croise les doigts. En sortant, il tomba sur son ami Tom, qui attendait
son entretien. " Je ne m'attendais pas à te voir "... Tom répondit : " C'est mon dernier espoir, si je n'obtiens pas ce boulot, je
ferais une formation pour un autre métier. Noah répondit précipitamment. " Il semble que je voie finalement la lumière au bout du
tunnel, car je suis assez satisfait de l'entretien. J'ai eu un tout petit signe d'espoir." Tom pensa : j'ai plus d'expérience que lui...
Je dois me montrer combatif et ne pas désespérer. Je convaincrai le patron de ma compétence et prouverai ma motivation. Je ne suis
pas du genre à perdre courage ! De toute façon, Noah est connu pour sa trop grande confiance en lui ! En dépit de ses grandes
espérances et de sa confiance retrouvées, l'interview de Tom fut décevante. Il s'embrouilla dans une comparaison entre sa situation
et le roman " De grandes espérances ", qui laissa l'interviewer complètement pantois... Suite à sa rencontre avec Tom, Noah mit
l'espoir de côté à propos de cette situation et postula pour une autre Société. Quant à Tom, il comprit qu'après sa piètre prestation
il n'avait plus guère de chances d'être choisi et décida d'explorer d'autres pistes. Concernant Noah, il ne pouvait s'empêcher de
nourrir quelque espoir d'être embauché quelque part...Trois semaines plus tard, il reçut deux lettres qui suscitèrent des nouveaux
espoirs. Il était convoqué à d'autres entretiens mais en chemin il reçut un appel : il était sélectionné pour le premier emploi, et
ils disaient espérer qu'il puisse commencer tout de suite. Il dit à Abby qu'il voyait enfin le bout du tunnel. Il eut une pensée émue
pour sa grand-mère qui avait l'habitude de dire " L'espoir est éternel pour qui est persévérant. " Il s'était attendu à trouver une
place en or, mais c'était une galère : le matériel était hétéroclite et il fallait s'occuper de 20 enfants surexcités, de telle sorte
que les faire tenir tranquilles et respecter des règles relevait de l'utopie. Après six semaines, n'ayant plus d'espoir de voir sa
situation s'améliorer, il envisagea de quitter son emploi. D'un autre côté, c'était un défi à relever ; pensant cela, il eut un regain
d'espoir. L'un des enfants lui dit qu'il savait jouer de la guitare, dans l'espoir que Noah accepterait de le laisser jouer." Oui! Bonne
idée, mais l'euphorie retomba vite, car la sono était défectueuse. Heureusement Noah était bon en électronique ; il se dit : "Tu vas y
arriver !" Et de fait il arriva rapidement à résoudre le problème. Lui-même pouvait chanter et il mit ses espoirs dans quelques choristes
pour étoffer la performance. Les enfants se montrèrent motivés, certains écrivirent des paroles amusantes. Les planètes semblaient enfin
s'aligner et Noah pouvait envisager l’avenir avec confiance. Il avait hâte d’appeler Abby à propos de cet incroyable retournement de
situation... Il voyait la vie en rose, et la St Valentin approchant, il se sentait pousser des ailes ! Abby suggéra qu'il pouvait peut-être
monter un spectacle, ce qui lui redonna de l'élan, si tant est qu'il en ait eu besoin... Il sentait qu'ils pourraient se défouler ensemble
et croisa les doigts pour que leur relation continue. Tout prenait une tournure positive ! Comme on sait, "la musique adoucit les moeurs",
et les enfants se comportaient avec enthousiasme. Soudain, Noah s’assombrit : « Mais on a besoin d’argent pour ça. » « Plutôt que d’argent,
ce dont tu as besoin c’est d'être plus imaginatif : Tu demandes la participation de chacun et fais avec les moyens du bord. Tout le monde
s'éclatera ! Un matin, une mère arriva en disant qu'elle pouvait donner un coup de main car son fils était au septième ciel depuis qu'il
avait commencé à préparer ce projet musical. Le garçon avait apparemment trouvé un sens à sa vie, et la mère reconnaissante voulait apporter
sa contribution. Chacun y mit du sien et tout se déroulait au delà de leurs espérances, quand un garçon tomba de l'estrade, ce qui fit dire
au responsable que le projet était trop dangereux. Tout le monde avait le moral dans les chaussettes. Après cet incident, Noah revint à la
routine et se convainquit qu'il n'aurait pas d'avenir. Abby insista : "Secoue-toi ! Aide-toi et le ciel t'aidera ! Appelle les parents et
explique-leur que le projet est sécurisé, d'ailleurs l'enfant n'était pas blessé. Des tatamis avaient été installés. L'espoir revint. Les
répétitions continuèrent, mais l'espoir s'évanouit à nouveau lorsque le directeur dit que, si Noah voulait continuer ses "expériences", il
ferait mieux de se trouver un autre travail ! Apprenant cela, de nombreux parents menacèrent de retirer leur enfant, dans l'espoir que le
responsable changerait finalement d'avis. Comme par miracle, cela marcha ! Noah pouvait-il enfin croire en sa bonne étoile ? Mais Noah perdit
espoir une fois de plus quand des gens de la Protection de l'Enfance lui dirent qu'il avait besoin d'un permis spécial pour faire travailler
les enfants, mais comme c'était juste un loisir non rémunéré, les choses s'arrangèrent. Le spectacle fut un succès. À la fin, l'un des parents
lui dit avec enthousiasme : "La force est avec toi !", ce qui lui rappela une autre expression bien connue tirée d'un vieux film : " L'important
est de ne jamais désespérer", qui une fois de plus fut avéré.
