Hello dear Friends!

Another easy exercice that everyone can do!

1) « Is it easy for you to say: «No, sorry, I can’t!»?
2) Could you live for one day without a watch? without your cellphone?
3) In your opinion, why do some people steal?
4) What is your idea of ideal parents?

Go for it! with THE FORCE.

Hello, dear Friends,
ANSWER A: topic2 please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy.
I live without mobile phones since they have become so sophisticated that I am unable to use them. You can explain to me 15 times how it works, I don't even know how to answer when it rings. I click, I press, I rub, I touch it and it gives me squares of all colours and nothing that I need. I'm fine without it.
As for watches, I don't have them for the good reason, that they don't work on me. A watch on my wrist of any kind works perfectly for 8 days then it starts to lag for minutes, and stops completely after a month. I've been living without a watch forever. I look at the time on the kitchen oven door. When I am outside, there is always a clock on a church tower or the façade of a public building. I never arrive late for appointments.
Thanks for your help!

As for watches, I don't have them for the good reason
On my wrist, a watch of any kind works perfectly for 8 days then it starts to lag for minutes, and stops completely after a month. I've been living without a watch forever. I look at the time on the kitchen oven door**. When I am outside, there is always a clock on a church tower or the façade of a public building. I never arrive late for appointments.
* I find "it" inappropriate because of the plural (phones) in the previous sentence.
**I have doubts about the syntax, but perhaps I am mistaken. I'd say "the oven door in the kitchen".

Hello dears,

Thanks a lot for your suggestions!

Here is ANSWER B: (a different approach on the same topic)Please, indicate possible mistakes and underline what looks clumsy...
Topic 2: 'Could you live for one day without a watch? Without your cellphone'
When I started writing my answer, I first overlooked 'for one day'... Which of course makes things very different! For 'one day' is not such a big deal, is it ?
First, let's forget about the watch: one day without knowing the right time could even be an interesting experiment!
My cellphone... That's the real issue! One day will be a maximum! I confess I have become what you may call a stupid addict to it, always urgently checking something extraordinarily important on the Internet: this includes dayly weather reports (preferably on different sites), reviews on books or movies I'll maybe never read or watch, silly but nevertheless funny videos about pets !... Twenty years or so ago, somebody said that in a very close future everyone would have a phone in their handbags; this had infuriated me: I was so sure I would never be trapped !... Shame on me!
