I would like to have a sentence checked please:
J'avais faim alors j'ai mangé sans t'attendre= I was hungry so I ate without waitING you.
Is it correct ?

J'avais faim alors j'ai mangé sans t'attendre= I was hungry so I ate (had dinner) without waitING for you.

Mais on pourrait aussi tourner la phrase ainsi:
J'avais faim alors j'ai mangé sans t'attendre= I was hungry so I didn't wait for you to start eating, to have dinner.
